Awww. I miss the good old 3rd & 4th republic, right after the 5.16 Military Revolution.

lolness.

So I joined the "Youth League for the preservation of the fatherland" (best translation).

Which hates the current evil administration.

What? But I was under the impression you were blind to propaganda!

Meh. I just accept it as a way of life. Must be the loyalty and piety first thing hard-wired into my head.

Andway, in other news:

The Grand National Party: The FATE of Thakin is not something that you should ignore, Mr. Retard-president.

<3 <3 <3

So. What happened in Thailand? Bloodless Military Coup (tm) ?

Numbers, move to Sweden, we need more pro-fascists like you! I feel like I'm the only one here.:(

Awww, I'd move, but conscription laws prevent me from going outside the country. :( :p

WAIT!!! Fatherland?

?

So. What happened in Thailand? Bloodless Military Coup (tm) ?

Just like the Revolution of May 16th..... I want another coup :(

Yeah thats what i thought too...

Stupid coup, i have relatives in Thailand right now :(

I dont really understand what is happening right now but with the fact of

  • revolution
  • :(
  • Thailand
  • Facism
  • Mad Flying Pigs

i guess this is pretty bad... coup? Glenn Can they leave the country? They probably know already.

Yeah they do, but they found out after everyone (because it was the middle of the night). They've not been told to leave, and they're not meant to for over a month. They are about 20 minutes away from Bangkok and not in any immediate danger as far as i can gather. I'm just hoping for a continued bloodless coup.

whats coup... please tell me... 20 min from bangkok... means theyll get there about 10pm thai time? Back to London, leme guess coup=terror? I remember news saying cases of CS in thailand

???

They are already in Thailand, they've been there 3 weeks, and i don't think they are moving.

A coup is an uprising, or a sudden and decisive change of government illegally or by force as the dictionary says. Basically this is a military coup, as the military and the people hate the Thai PM for various reasons (selling large Thai companies) and are throwing his government out - although he's residing in New York right now. I think they want the Thai King to take over.

I bet hes gonna stay there... LETS BOMB THE HIM!!!! MAKE SURE 1,000,000,000,000 radius of the area is destroyed... if u know what i mean... :p

Sry to d post, but just saw the papers... COUP in thailand... ill read it... yo understand more... i love these political things. Glenn, your the best.

Not Thriple Post as the is updates, the COUP failed... there will be an election of the new leader of the country, it is said that the PM can also take part in this new election... lots of Bang bang and boom boom are exepected i say...

Bit confused the article said there was going to be elections in November and that the PM wasn't going to stand for elections again... so where was the need for a coup? Also the article doesn't say why the military felt it had popular support for the coup - i.e. what had the PM done that was so bad? I'd look up thoes answers myself but, err, I'm too lazy at the moment.

EDIT:
...as the military and the people hate the Thai PM for various reasons (selling large Thai companies)
Ok - that'll teach me for not reloading the page before posting a reply.

Uh, that is the point of a coup. A new election.

Yeah, so it did not fail, one of the biggest reasons for the coup was the PM rescheduling and delaying elections even further..
Btw, numbers, I haven't noticed it before but your post number is batshit insane man.:D

I think someone should try that here with the Marines. The presidents rating is 13.5% approval, and our marines alone number 30,000; more than the entire military of Canada.

Wow. almost 9k. What have I done!

It's all part of the Illuminati's plan

Number's postcount or the Thailand Revolution?

the PMs advisor/the guy who takes over the country while hes gone, says that it FAILED in black and white... or is he insane?
I think you are insane, how can one say stuff in COLOR!? I mean, okay, you can write things in color but say?:O
Besides, it's considered a success by many especially IN Thailand from what I've heard, when even the King and his closest people give their support to the coup... I quote..
"In order to create peace in the country, the King appoints General Sonthi Boonyaratglin as head of the Council for Political Reform. All people should remain peaceful and civil servants should listen to orders from General Sonthi Boonyaratglin from now on."

mabye he said it was a fail in the military attacking becuz the PM was in america... it was written in black and white... sru for the lousy english

I doubt it, they don't really want to kill the PM, they just wanted new elections, that is pretty well-established, they've even said he's welcome back if he wants to, but not as a PM.:)
