'That Account Was Not Found'

So, Steam isn't letting me log in.

I thought perhaps the password could be wrong, so I went to Retrieve Account Information.

After a little while the message pops up and says 'That account was not found. Please enter the account name you use to log into steam.'

I am 100% sure that the account name is correct, and it was even there waiting for me on the log-in screen when I loaded up steam.

Any advice?

Send a Steam support ticket, someone at Valve should be able to tell you what's happened.

At the bottom of that page, there's a link "Contact Support". How did you buy your games? cause they might need that info, it helps speed the process.
