What did you do?
I killed him.

I spared him. After I beat the game I went back and re-did all the choices. It seems like sparing him and going after Dimitri instead of dealing with him are the best options.

Spared 'im. Then went after Dimitri.

Spared him. Hit him with the semi truck parked near by on accident though so the game acted like I killed him for revenge.

I killed him and went with the deal... I suck at decision choices, don't I?

I spared him and went after Dimitri later on. No pussy for Niko now. ;(

I killed him. I knew it was the "wrong" decision but it seemed to fit Niko's character far more than sparing him.

And of course I went after Dimitri, it was clearly the only real choice. It was even more obvious than choosing whether to save Dwayne or Playboy X.

I spared him, then went after Dimitri.

Then I went through and killed him and did the deal.

I'm satisfied with my first decision... I've never been hurt so bad in a game before as with the second option.

How much of a difference does killing Dimitri make instead of doing the deal? I did the deal because taking down Dimitri was so damn hard, but after seeing the consequences of my actions I'm starting to think about reloading my old save and killing Dimitri

It makes a huge difference. I recommend it.

If you care about the ones close to you, choosing the deal is a very bad idea.

Do you still get the 250k if you kill Dmitri? I wanted that achievment, so it kind of influenced my decision.

I killed him, killed Dimitri.

Is that a different ending than sparing him and then going after Dmitri?

EDIT: Jesus Christ, I just replayed, sparing him and doing the deal. I'm so ****ing glad I didn't do that the first time.

I know dude... I felt so dead and empty inside once I beat the game a second time with that ending...

It... I... <sigh> Man, I couldn't function so I had to reload my old game from when I beat the game the other way.

It's just not the same without him.

I think you have to kill him either way.

If Niko chooses to exact Revenge, he confronts Dimitri on the tanker, 'Platypus', the ship that Niko came to Liberty City aboard. Niko ultimately kills Dimitri. Niko later attends Roman's wedding to Mallorie, accompanied by Kate McCreary. Jimmy Pegorino ambushes the wedding, angered at the failure of the deal and kills Kate in his attempt to murder Niko. Niko, along with Little Jacob and Roman, confronts and kills Pegorino before lamenting on the supposed 'American Dream'.

If the player chooses to strike a Deal, Niko meets Phil Bell at the docks to make the exchange. Dimitri sabotages his side of the deal but Niko and Phil eventually retrieve the drug money regardless. Kate, who was against making the deal, is furious with Niko and refuses to attend Roman and Mallorie's wedding. The wedding takes place and an assassin sent by Dimitri to kill Niko shoots Roman during a struggle. Devastated, Niko, accompanied by Little Jacob, assaults an abandoned casino to find Dimitri, who has allied himself with Pegorino. Dimitri executes Pegorino and flees from Niko to Happiness Island. Niko pursues Dimitri and ultimately kills him. Niko considers the well-being of his soul as the story ends.

So there are only two endings?

EDIT: Yep. I don't see how anyone would deal with Dimitri the first time after what he'd done to you.

I went after Dimitri first, got killed, tried again and my Xbox couldn't read the disc. :x

So I reloaded and just made the deal, since it was closer. :(

Spared. Was very tempted otherwise, but I have a habit of making all the "good" choices on my first playthrough.

Are you implying that my emptying a clip out of my Desert Eagle into his f*cking chest wasn't the "good" decision?

Killed him. The guy was a backstabbing, two-faced coward... why would I leave him alive?

That said, I've made two save files - one for killing him, which I've now done, and another so I can see what the other ending is like some other time.

spared him... I felt sorry for the pathetic little wretch. To me it seemed that killing him would have brought Niko down to his level...

However dimitri deserved the fate of being on the end of the knife that i whipped out and stabbed him with well over 50 times after clearing the boat for teh revenge mission.

Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang....in the chest

Don't forget the banging

Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang...

AND...he's dead...

Killed him, but really did feel empty afterwards. They really made the character seem pitiful--when I had my rifle trained at his head, he was just gazing around blankly saying "Where am I?" Really gut-wrenching stuff. I was impressed that a video game could portray a scene like that so unflinchingly.

They should have created a "kneecap" option.

Oh, and of course, I decided to take down Dmitri early.

Killed Darko, attempted to kill Dimitri, but died 400 million times so I quit for the night.

How much/what do you get for killing him as opposed to the 250k you make with the deal?

Satisfaction as far as I can tell. But it makes for a better story. Not like you need the cash anyway.

Spared Darko(does that affect anything?) and killed Dimitri, **** Dimitri, I completed that mission first time too, didn't have any difficulty with it.

spared darko and killed dimitri

found the last mission annoying though :|

I actually do need some cash, all that money made in Three Leaf Clover was spent on guns, which are expensive when you need to be fully equipped.

I dunno what I'm gonna do, probably just kill Dimitri as I don't feel like chasing him in a boat.
