W.o.w. What an aweeeessoommeeee book. I just finished it today (for the uninformed, it's by Marc Laidlaw, horror/thriller, and he also wrote the story for Half-Life).

It just felt so real, the way he wrote it... and I loved the story too, hehe. The characters all felt so damn real, and I loved how he jumped from different characters in each chapter, weaving their stories together seamlessly and bringing them all to a climax.

Who else has read it?

I havn't but from that description of it i am more thrille for hl2 :-D

I've been meaning to read a Marc Laidlaw book, but when I last looked (A few months ago) they were hard to find.

Finding a Marc Laidlaw book in sweden? Allow me to cough up a few laughs. Ha-ha.

He also wrote one called "the orchid eater" i think... anyway, they're both in gordon freemans locker at black mesa :P

I just ordered:

The Orchid Eater - Marc Laidlaw
Kalifornia: A Novel - Marc Laidlaw
1984 - George Orwell

I buy them from Amazon.com's Marketplace, usually get the books in less than a week and cheap shipping (that order: $15, $10 shipping from 3 different vendors).

Now I'm off to buy a 256MB Jumpdrive.

I've been meaning to pick up The 37th Mandala for a while... but his books are difficult to find. Looks like I might just have to order it, and a couple more online
