I'm 14, but 15 in 16 days :D

I'm not gonna vote in the poll, as my age may change during the threads activity.

I hate these threads.

22

And the poll choices look way more confusing than they should have.

Solaris can't get away with this.

That confused me.
I don't think I picked the right one.

You did, and it's not confusing at all. X= your age. How hard is it?

THERE ARE LOTS OF GREATER THAN SYMBOLS

should have used these ?

edit;mother****er.

= - equals
> - greater than
< - less than
>= - greater than or equal to
<= - less than or equal to

Go back to 2nd grade.

Not used to have them be <= and such. I expect the little line underneath it. It looks weird with just an =.

I was going to put x+(e^(pi*i)-1)=16 but I thought that would break some of you.

Go back to school

This.

It look confusing otherwise. There is a symbol but it's broken on this forum.

edit: sorry huuuuuge

20... but my personality was born a cancerous cynical 45.

Any particular reason why you chose that range of ages ? .

To split up the most common ages?

Judging by the poll results I'd say he did a pretty good job.

Also no shit about the greater than or equal to sign, if you're actually writing with a pencil/pen then you can do it that way. But this is a ****ing computer and nobody gives a shit about using some special symbol they have to find somewhere. Especially when it's broken on the forum. >= is the way to write it on the PC, specifically in programming.

It's not that it's difficult... just more difficult than it needs to be.

It could've been "12-14", "15-16", etc., but the way it's presented is frustratingly inefficient.

Don't be silly, it's impossible to make a poll asking people's ages without doing so in a pretentious and up-your-own-ass kind of way.

i'm 25 but i read at a 27 year old's level.

This.

>= and <= are the normal, accepted computer symbol representations of those greater than / less than signs. Standard to most programming languages. No need for a symbol, and it's quite a bit more intuitive than confusing if you bother to spend more than 1/20th of a second's processing power to try to understand it.

I'm 20.

In maths in high school we were taught never to use <, only >.
