Whats the different 6800s? And what the diff in each I did some research but I got somewhat confused. I see 6800s and GTs. I thought I GTs were slower, but the 6800s are cheaper. wtf, help plz.

6800 < 6800 GT < 6800 Ultra

6800 (standard, non-ultra/GT) is 20-30% faster than a 9800 Pro, at about $50-100 more than a 9800 Pro. It has less pipelines than a "normal" (read: ultra/GT) 6800.

GT is estenially a lower clocked 6800 Ultra. You can reach Ultra speeds by simply OCing the GT for a good $100 less. These are nVidia's true nextgen cards. While the 6800 standard is more like half a generation ahead.

Actually the vanilla 6800 is a true next gen card as it supports the full feature set of the 6800 ultra. The only difference is that its a slower card.

I wasn't being literal. Just in terms of speed.

In some cases the 9800pro can match the 6800...9800Pro is still an awesome deal.
But more often than not the 6800 is ahead.

6800GT is the best performance while still being 100$ cheaper than the Ultra with only clock speed being different.

I think Im gonna go with a 9800 pro, much cheaper, about 100 less on newegg. Im goin for the 9800 pro, might OC it a bit too, later on.
