The "A" Rating

C, E, T, M, A. These are the ratings given out to tell protective parents what kind of content is in a game. I myself have seen all of these ratings except the A rating applied. Does anyone know of an A rated game? I dont think any have ever been released here in the US. The only games I can think of that would get that rating are the Hentai games that are common in Japan.

Mature is 17+

Well, out of curiosity.
At EB games, a minor may only buy a 'M' rated game when he/she is with an adult.
But what about 'AO' games?

For AO I know you need to be an adult/need ID/need permission from an adult, which blows since they are gonna go to the net anyways when someone sends em a link to goatse, then they are up all night wearing glasses and searching thru newspapers looking for clues to who really killed JFK and having sex with a maxwells coffee can with a wood sham in it for friction.

I believe so. A quick google search dictates that it is (but it also seems to point to Atari 2600 game having been AO)

i'm not to sure about that, although i don't have any real credebility i have heard of games that are rated aduts only but were just not as well known as singles and they weren't published by a major software publisher so i'm sure there are other ones, just not with as much hype
