I have never seen soe many clichés in a movie to date.

Was the script written by Americans who have never travelled abroad?

I think so. From the 1950s looking Mexican federal cops who speak spanish with a heavy american accent pronouncing to the word "gringo" in every sentence to the French sluttly journalist, this movie had it all.

The worst was of course the heavy dose of American patriotism and one-liners backed by a slow patriot song.

I left the movie theather at the part where they stary quoting Gandhi and this particular memorable scene: " what do you fight for BA ?" [camera zooms on the Army Rangers tatoo]

I must admit however that the trailer was top notch.

BA was the worst part of the movie by far. I thought it was a blast, one of the most enjoyable straightforward action movies I've seen in... a long time. I'm not sure what you were expecting though.

It's a remake of an American action TV show from the 80s, you dunce.

What the hell did you expect?

I thought it was great. Although I have to disagree about BA. Him and Murdock were probably my favorite out of the main characters. The actor that played BA did a great job mimicking how Mr.T did the same character in the original show.

I agree that it was filled with cliches, but everything was done just right in my opinion.

I am unfamiliar with the original show, I just found him to be completely annoying and pointless with his mohawk not having, nonviolence bullshit. Murdock could have been incredibly annoying, but I thought he was great the whole time.

You are all idiots, that movie was great.

Um, so far only one guy has said anything negative.

Dude, have you ever actually WATCHED the A-Team? I can't imagine why you would expect anything other than what it was. That's like complaining that Duke Nukem is too full of cliches, lmao.

The A-Team is one of my favorite shows, and I loved the movie. I've been anticipating an A-Team movie through occasional rumors for over 13 years, and I think it really maintained the spirit of the series.

One thing that's rare for me is to like the negative characters. Linch maybe not so much, but Pike was hilarious.

This movie was a brilliant achievement in mindless action cinema.

I kind of don't get the whole thing going on now where Hollywood is just capitalising on nostalgia (and poorly, for that matter). You know you've got these things like The A-Team, Marmaduke, and the new live-action Smurfs, and, I completely don't understand who the target market is. I mean, I saw these shows when I was a kid, sure, but the movies have just no appeal.

...Smurfs?

Please tell me you're kidding.

Lol, wurd. I was in Target a few days ago and saw A-Team Action figures and I was thinking, "Who the **** is going to buy these?"

I watched the movie for Liam Neeson.

To be honest I was expecting more punching and fighting from Mr. T 2, and all I got was the badass-ness in the opening. His character was too passive for the rest of the movie.

Though one thing that is really bugging me is the ending of the film. I don't want to spoil anything, but the part where Hannibal asked for the CIA agent's name confused me.

I was considering going to see this but went to Take me to the Greek instead... that movie is freaken awesome, like The Hangover awesome.

Still looking forward to the A-Team though, for the action... nothing else

Bahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Dear lord. And of course they're in New York...

Mmmhhmm, yeah. A part of me just died. Seems to be happening all the time these days.

Well the be fair the person that played BA is not an actor at all. He's a UFC fighter. I can't believe he actually got a role like that with basically no acting experience. I don't think he did that bad in the first place.

Is there anything left?

It's the A-Team.

But really, I knew all that, and I honestly can't say that his performance was that bad due to the fact that my real problem was his nonviolent subplot and writing in general. Not really an acting problem.

my real problem was his nonviolent subplot.

Yeah that was kind of weird. Why go to the trouble of hiring a real professional fighter for the role if you're going to make the character achieve "spiritual enlightenment" in the middle of the movie...

That's my one complaint on this movie, there were no scenes with BA "demolishing" dozens of bad guys.

Aside from the "non violence thing" I still stand by what I said that he did a good job. The chemistry between BA and Murdock was great.

I watched A-team today. Really enjoyed it except for the REAL heavy CG used in the last action sequence.

For those who haven't seen it yet, stay until after the credits! It may be long, but it's well worth it for those who grew up with the show.
