The Acclaimed's Debut Album

Hey, thought I would give you guys an update on how things are shaping up with The Acclaimed (4down) the band I'm in. Well 2 weeks today we start recording our album, if worst does comes to worse a 7 track ep. We've got a house sorted to live in for a week or 2 depending, got a producer and all the equipment. Should be an awesome week. The album currently has no name, things have came up but we haven?t been agreed.

Few songs such as Werewolf boy Vs Silverbullet didn't make it on to the album but we might decide to record later on.

After albums done, the final CD art will be finished and then printed.

To start the album off we're making the album Free-?5 depending fees we have to pay. We want it to be free as we want our music out there and don't really care about money. If you want a copy just message me, or you can wait till we samples of it on myspace.

We've also been having good responds to our gigs and have had some great reviews.

1. No, I mean, what kind of music do you play? Describe it to me. Sell it to me, even. I mean not literally, I don't have much money right now, but being this close to recording I presume you know what your own music sounds like.

I wouldn't agree that you are Ska really more gothic punk. Reminded me of Birthday Party and loads of early 80's post punk stuff only i doubt you guys even know the bands i'm thinking of which is why i thought what you were doing was really interesting and cool! The singer has a great voice btw and Robs (think that's his name?) has a brilliant bass sound. Keep it up!
