Well, it´s pretty obvious. :O
My personal reasons listed:
Judging only by looks, I think she should get some more weight. She´s too skinny and she´s got almost no hips at all (I hope someone mods this, fat-alyx-mod). Her face lacks personality. Generally, Alyx is a bit unfeminine.
Her animators have gone a little offroad. Her gestures are exaggarated and it makes her look childish. I mean, what´s with those stupid faces? Any of the other characters we´ve seen don´t have this problem. I do realise she is supposed to be a sort of a tomboy.
Other than that, I think her voice-actor is great.
As a sidenote, I found that female doctor much more interesting.
Half-life 2 is meant partly to be a lovestory after all, right?
But I guess you can make Gordie "fall in love" with anyone you want because of the you-are-gordon-stuff.
