The Arcade Fire

Borrowed it from a friend :naughty: Love 'No Cars Go' especially.

Yeah i wandered into the radio1 tent at reading and they were playing, they were really good live so i got the album, particularly like Rebellion (Lies)

Yeah Rebellion's a good song. They made a pretty cool music video for it too. My favorite song off the album is Neighborhood #1 Tunnels.

Yeah, extremely good first album- haven't heard anything else from them but 'expect the worst, hope for the best'- you know how it is...

I love their album and they're spectacular live. See them if at all possible!

I remember when i saw them live they had two drummers and two drumkits, one at a 90 degree angle to the other...the drummers were standing and were taking it in turns to play each drumkit (i.e. one would duck and play the first while the other would lean over his back and play the second), they also had pretend fights where theyd hit each other and then the drumkits in time to the music, hard to explain but really entertaining, it was like a mini show in its own right :)

i liked Rebellion (Lies) so i'll be sure to check their music out.

Sounds like I got to go and see a live show.

I've never heard that song before. It isn't on Funeral. But I was in Musicworld today, and noticed they had an album with a very light-colored cover. Would said song be on that album?

Yeah, it's on their EP.

You know when you are looking for a song for a while, and then you find it, completely randomly....well this is such a moment.

Wake Up - the song off the BBC autumn adverts. Woot :D :D

The greatest thing is, Wake Up is a great song, but there are sooo many songs on Funeral and their EP that are better. Try "Neighborhoods #2" and see what I'm talking about. It's amazing! After that...see them live. Your respect and appreciation for them will increase ten fold. Amazing band.

they are a great band. Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels) is an amazing song.

I'm getting painfully sick of Neighborhood #4 (Power Out). I like Rebellion better.

I'm seeing them at the Austin City Limits festival next weekend (Sept 23-25). I love funeral. amazing music. I'm so glad to hear some people have heard them live. Now I'm really looking forward to hearing them.

I got their cd today :) Listening to it now. I should have got it a couple of weeks ago when it was going for $10, now it's $17. HMV's prices vary a lot.

I miss seeing these guys at small venues
The first time I saw them was like three years ago with Wolf Parade at my friends' venue. There were like 15 people and it was 2 in the afternoon
It's crazy that they're playing with the likes of Bowie and David Byrne now
