What we can Learn from Guy Goma

You know what pisses me off? Some ****ing emo blabbing on about how depressed they are, uttering such shit as "Story of my life this is". "Everything always go's wrong for me". You turn on the ****ing Scuzz music channel and half of its a bunch of 19year olds, with more money than a ****ing third world country singing about how shit their life is.

Now if your a Frenchman, who's struggling to speak english properlly, but is managing to get along. You go to a job interview, and somehow during the course of getting dressed up, walking into the BBC going for a job interview, you wind up on live national TV, being interviewed about the economics of Pay per Download Music, and it's relationship to Music Industry Profit Growth, then you ****ing can well be depressed.

Did he start singing a song about killing himself? Did he dye his hair black and become a recluse? No, he ****ing didn't. He ****ing went for it, relised the mistake and gave it his best ****ing shot. Sure he obviously didn't know much about the internet, he confused his e-related verbs. But what the **** do you expect, he's French, and he ****ing tried.

Actually If you can walk everywhere you are going to see a lot of people downloading the internet and the website and everything they want. But I think eh It is much better for development and eh to inform people what they want and to get the easy way and so faster if they are looking for.

Now everyone, do what I did but better, Write some comical material. I'm looking forward to what El chi might have to say.

That's awesome, and your right about the emo kids, too. Bunch of lazy good-for-nothings...

Yay generalizations @Dog--

It goes without saying that there's exceptions. There's always going to be someone out of the generalization. It just seems stupid to type it over and over.

"Yeah, those emos, a bunch of good-for-nothings. Except a few. I've never seen one, but I know there's a good emo somewhere. I hope I don't offend anyone. /no****ingballs."

Yay telling Boogymanx what's what @Qonfused - :D gj

I know quite a few emos and they're not as bad as anyone portrays them. Hell, they're cheery.

Doesn't cheery deffy the definition of an emo?

I actually thought "all emo's are depressed" was quite true. :|

Guess what all white people are... white.
There are true stereotypes.

Exactly. There's no such thing as a "cheery emo" :p If he's cheery, he's not emo. Emo is defined by someone who is depressed, and that's that.

Nah, emo is fashion and music more than anything else.

Kind of like scenesters :E

Well yeah, emo has it's own fashion and music, but that doesn't mean if you enjoy or partake in those things, that you are an emo. That's more of trying to be emo, or in other words a poser. Otherwise I could just dress up like a gangster, listen to rap and call myself black.

In all honesty, I really thought being 'emo' was liking 'emotional hardcore' music, dressing in accordance, and having emo friends, generally being part of that self-sufficient social scene. Being depressed has little to do with it in my experience.

UH, hate to break it to you but emo is just short for emotional. It spans more than just being depressed. :|

It's actually got a lot to do with the music (Dashboard Confessional, etc) than people think.
Ofcourse, the internet has bastardized what it is to be emo (sort of a dorky metrosexual) into something akin to Linkin Park.
