I found those pictures to be incredibly sad... I really appreciate the fact that I live in a part of the world in which I don't have to fear gunfire in the streets.

Capture the duster is funny too

The life preserver is priceless, among with the batman cape and the spring gone loose.

This is funny yet sad at the same time, and I too feel that it would be horrible living in such a place, but I can't help but notice how much they resemble their American counterparts.
 
This is why the war there never ends...those people are dumb. I bet the one guy with the life jacket thinks its a bullet proof vest or something :( and the guy doin the gangsta style shit with the RPG is gonna get lit on fire when he shoots. all the flames that blow out of the back of the rpg will hit the tree and he'll get lit up lol

Sorry, yes it is rather not funny actually. If you can distance yourself, yes, but when you consider that these people probably dropped a few others whom (probably) didn't deserve it really, not so much.

I highly doubt anyone died during those shots. With the way those guys were aiming they wouldn't hit anything.
 
The poses themselves are funny! Having enough hatred to end a person's life for little reason is sad though, so I don't care if they kill each other. I'd prefer them solve it in another way though.

On a somewhat related topic, I really don't understand why people get angry and upset. It makes for unnecessary drama and a unhealthy lifestyle yet doesen't solve or help solve anything. It makes things complicated when they shouldn't be.

so this is just an isolated incident that just played out cuz they happened to have guns? ..it's tribal warfare in Liberia, thousands have been killed in 14 years of fighting ..the average lifespan is 43 years ..less if your a soldier


it's nice that you guys can sit there and laugh from the comfort of your nice little cozy chairs ..but were you in Liberia you'd either be dead or one of them.

That thread is absolutely repellent and I can't see anything funny in it whatsoever. Saying "They probably didn't hit anything" doesn't absolve anyone from finding comedy value in the plight of others. It's disgusting and shameful.

I find the pictures funny, but quite alarming as well seeing these civil wars taking place in the middle of cities and children.

I am not sure why everyone else is telling everyone what is moral and what is not, what is allowed to be laughed at and what is not. But I am pretty sure I live in a country of FREE SPEECH at the moment. You know the drill, if you want to be moral- ignore this thread.

Sure it's not my country, but does that mean I should refrain from posting something I find amusing? No.
I don't care how many people see me as immoral, this isn't a voting booth the majority is meaningless to me. I see it as right to laugh at idiots anywhere, for any reason. Do I feel bad for them? Somewhat. But does it mean ill refrain to laugh at their stupidity? No, I wont refrain to laugh at what I find funny just because I am on some site, or in some culture. What is right is right to me, don't bother telling me what isn't. If the thread is closed/I am banned, i'll refrain from posting. The loss isn't mine.
 
I find this funny in the immediate "OMG like n00bs with their guns skillz" but then when i realise that this is the backdrop to the death and violence in these countries i am shocked at the fact that i found it funny. Disgusting that sites like that take pleasure out of it
 
I think that they take that kind of a stance because they’re afraid of opposing fire ..You’re less likely to get serious injury if your head isn’t on the iron sight think about it ...or well that’s my theory. As for the life vest they aren’t idiots they know it’s a life vest but when you're in a war you would stuff your shirt with tissue if it made things anymore comfortable. I would really like to see you calm and collected when you have enemy fire narrowly missing your head and ricocheting off the walls. Their erratic behavior is because 1) they aren’t trained 2) they value their lives.
