The Big bang Theory - TV Show

Anyone seen the show? Ive seen all 8 episodes and I think its really good, very clever in some places.

Sheldon can get annoying at times though, when he wines at every single thing. overall though Im enjoying it

From what I've seen of it I don't mind much of the writing or the characters or most of the other bits, but I am extremely put off by just how much of a "sitcom" it is. Laugh track, one angle sets, the works.

seriously, and the formula is stupid...they just take very normal sentences and use the largest synonyms they can find for each word and suddenly it's funny?

My friends like the show and I've watched two episodes and didn't even crack a smile...but then again I'm a pretty damn hard person to get amused.

I've seen a few episodes, and it doesn't require my attention more than any other show on TV.

i feel its a breath of fresh air comapred to all the other sitcoms out there that are about real life problems like babies, jobs and relationships

Unless this show is about raising mutated sheep in your basement, I don't see how it could be different from any other sitcom.

I saw the commercials for it when it was still about to premiere. A show about geeks and nerds that OMGINTERACTWITHAGIRL. Of course, hilarity ensues when who would have guessed it, they're AWKWARD around her! But of course, the girl eventually warms up to geeks and she gives them a makeover!

I'll bet I can predict their next "plot twist": The girl is gonna start trying to make one of the guys cool, the other nerd is going to be feel left out and he's gonna give the other a guy a speech about how "you should be who you really are" and try to make him act/dress like a nerd again, and they will all learn a valuable life lesson!

lol i like your prediction, would make a good movie but doubt it would happen in the series, otherwise they would stop making any more episodes and I heard theres 22 in total

Just aired in the UK 30 minutes ago. It's your typical generic American sitcom. Pretty lame. Reminds me of that How I Met Your Mother. I'd rather watch reruns of 3rd Rock or that Two Guys and a Girl thingy.

Yeah just saw it tonight, hadn't heard about it until tonight when I randomly landed on it while changing stations. Watched the whole episode, thought it was quite funny, I liked the guy with the NES controller for a belt buckle ha!
