Has anyone here ever seen this movie? All I can say is wow, a very realistic representation of WWII. A young Mark Hamill and Lee Marvin! If you're into War movies, check this one out. You won't regret it.

I love WWII films, but I haven't seen this yet. I'm going to look for it tomorrow in town.

ya saw it years ago ..great movie ..samuel fuller is not only a great director but he based the movie on his own experiences in ww2 ..the guy was tough as nails

from what I remeber of this movie it was horribly unrealistic. A bunch of Americans killing 100's of Germans while not getting shot at all.

Assuming it was this movie, I think it was but I dont remeber for sure.

wrong movie ..there's no scene like that ...the movie is based on REAL events that the director (sam fuller) exprienced in ww2

you may be thinking of "the thin red line"

hmm, it wasnt the Thin Red Line that was in the Pacific, and it was a movie from the 70's I remeber.

Ah! I have seen this film, then. I knew the name ringed a bell, and a young Mark Hamil did too. This is the film which shows the invasion of Italy and the fight against Rommel's Afrika Korps.

Great film, it was on recently.

ya I've seen it a few times on tv but much like Catch-22 "war is hell" ww2 movies are seldom aired
