The Bohemian Grove

Allright, I usually don't buy into any of these nutty globalization conspiracy theories but sometimes they can be kind of fun to think about. I just ran across this today and it's actually pretty interesting. The Bohemian Grove is a yearly meeting of a secret society that takes place in California. It was started in 1873 and only men are allowed. Past and present members of the society include George W. Bush, Bush Sr., Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Henry Kissinger, Alan Greenspan, Ted Turner, Walter Cronkite, Newt Gingrich, various members of the Supreme Court, various other law makers, various foreign leaders, the CEOs of 30% of the largest international corporations, and various actors/entertainers.

They supposedly engage in bizarre behavior and rituals, such as the worship of a gigantic stone owl. They give scary-sounding policy presentations on topics such as "Life Extension" and "Rearming America." There are rumors of drunken orgies and even human sacrifice (Eyes Wide Shut style). They also supposedly have links to all the old conspiracy classics such as the Illumanti, the Freemasons, and a Yale secret societ called "Skull and Bones (both John Kerry and George W. are members of this one.) Like I said, I usually don't buy into this stuff but somehow this one seems more concrete than most...

alex jones (the guy behind prisonplanet.com and infowars.com) has a video that he took, him and his friend snuck into bohemian grove and videotaped it all, they have the whole ceremony on tape and everything.

its pretty interesting to watch.

if you dont want to buy the video and you live in texas you can probably see his tv show, sometimes he plays his documentaries on the show, its on tuesdays and thursdays, also alex jones has a radio show thats like 3 hours long, i believe you can stream it over the net if you're so inclined also.
