Figured it's about time by now for this years (or last years (wait until 2009, then this will make sense) thread.

In this thread you discuss what you got for xmas, what you got people, what your plans are for xmas/new years.. Hell, even discuss xmas origins, santa, etc.

Here's what I'm hoping to get for Christmas:

- Radio
- Motherboard, specifically socket AM2+
- One or more pairs of pants
- Some Magic the Gathering cards
- Socks (a merry-Christmas prerequisite)

Here's what I'm getting people for Christmas:

- A teddy bear wearing paper lobster-claw mittens and a punny poem for my girlfriend (long story)
- A card for my family

I'd get better gifts, but I have exactly $34.91 to my name, $7.60 of which is earmarked for bus tickets so I can get to work. And I don't get paid until the 26th. :|

Then on New Years eve, hittin it up in Northbridge. New Years day, we've got the Perth Cup (horse racing) in Ascot... a few days after that we've got Summerdayze (Dance Festival = Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Eric Prydz, TYDI, Calvin Harris etc etc.)

I'm getting a Big Day Out ticket (NZ/Australia's answer to Lollapalooza, but not as good, for those of you playing at home).

I pretty much get everything the months before xmas. On the day its more like get a random thing I don't expect. What I've gotten in the past month (anime dvds): DBZ: season 7, movies 5-6, DBGT season 1, Yuu Yuu Hakusho seasons 1-2, Blue Gender (complete), Samurai 7 (complete). Annnnd Fallout 3 collector's edition. I don't feel TOO greedy about it since I let my brother see most of it too (everything up to and including YYH). But yeah, I pretty much have been on a super spending spree and I know I have to slow down. (I don't normally buy this much stuff >_<)
