I didn't say before, but I'd fight them. Of course, I'd spend most of my time flinging barrels around, and watching in awe as the bottles on a table actually move realistically when I smash the table into pieces.

i'd join them! the combine guards have it easy. they joke around - remember, at the beginning, when that guard knocks the can down, tell s you to pick it up, and then laughs. Then, those two guards were chillin by their bad-ass tank outside the train station. Plus, you get to hit people with that electric stick! It's awesome being a genetically-mutated/mechanically-enhanced human working for the combine.
