Yes, there have been a number of people that have worked out how to get the Counter-Strike: Source BETA to work without legitimately being part of the cyber cafe or press beta. I would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the following clause in the Steam Subscriber Agreement that you have all agreed to.

Re-distribution of files from your Steam cache is illegal and a violation of the Steam Subscriber Agreement. As with other illegal activity, any Steam Subscribers participating in the distribution of files from their Steam cache or any other Valve content not permitted for re-distribution may have their accounts terminated.

Any posts, any where on this forum that discuss aspects of distribution of the Counter-Strike: Source beta will be immediately removed without warning and repeat offenders will be banned. Additionally, depending on the situation at the time, we will make Valve Software aware of your post/s for them to take further action.
