Arkane Studios? Austin office is looking for programmers to work on a multiplayer FPS for Windows Vista and Xbox 360 using Valve?s Source engine.

Interesting to say the least. Are they cutting support for earlier versions of Windows or did they just not mention it in the job description? Will Vista and Xbox360 users be able to play together? Lots of questions.

TBH I haven't payed attention so maybe they already made these platform announcements. I just saw the posting and it sort of perked my attention.

That's the big question. It wasn't mentioned in the job posting so I'm wondering if when they say Win Vista they include previous versions or if it's exclusive to that platform.

My honest guess is that of course it will be on WinXP and they just didn't state it in the job posting, but it's worth raising the question anyways.

I think alota people dont feel like spending $250,so they can spend another $50 on a game.

If it works for Vista im sure it will work for xp. Unless its a exclusive. Really i dont mind. Iv played around with the final build of vista for a few days now and its amazing.

Work at retail btw and we have like 2 displays of it.
