2. (NOTE MODS: I'd have put this in politics, but I had some pictures... so..)
Anarchy, Authoritarianism, and Totalitarianism
Human Progress, and the progress of society.
Humanity progresses throughout time, an evolution of sorts. Humans, being societal animals (beings, if you prefer), also make their society evolve. In the before time, government was unneeded, for humanity was primitive. As human society evolved, people became civilized. Governments took hold. And they controlled chaos, brought order, and brought the safety of the public. As the world progressed more and more, an ideal, Democracy, came to take root. Social Libertarianism also came to take root, as with many other viral philosophies.
For your own protection
The limits of full social libertarian democracies
Democracy is but a government designed to bring complacency to the people. Complacency brings happiness. Happiness brings order. On the other hand, chaos and crime thrive on the lack of control, and the indulgence of the understanding of society. Unfortunately, with democracy, viral philosophies, such as racism, anarchism, and even destructive nihilism find it very easy to take root. The democratic process is only a government of the uneducated, as opposed to aristocracy, a government of the badly educated. It can not seek out the sociocidals intent on destroying the fabric of society.
Antisocial criminal intent on destroying order.
Authoritarianism
Many times, Authoritarianism is mistaken for a greedy government which tells people what to do, and what to think. However, authoritarian governments don?t do so; they teach people how to think. It is the next step in societal evolution, a step that eliminates dangerous viral ideals that may destroy the very fabric of society.
Communism and Totalitarianism
Most totalitarian governments are communist, and all communist governments are totalitarian. Totalitarianism is a misguided step, authoritarianism taken too far. Governments can do only so far, and depriving the people of their basic rights to property is not, and cannot be a good thing. One must seek to eliminate this, with the controlled power of government. Communism, as an idea, does far more harm than can be possibly imagined by social libertarians. Idealistic communism is completely unrealistic as it fails to understand basic human instinct and the minds of the normal public. Communism is the opposite of freedom.
Revolutions, and The Revolution
It will never happen. The so called freedom that you dream of is a myth, created by antisocial terrorists. The more resistance the more ?oppression? that governments will create to keep order in society. For the safety of the public, strict measures may have to be taken to combat disorder and chaos. Less resistance will create more freedoms, as governments relax control that were taken to prevent social fracture. It is perhaps a bit ironic, yes.
Do not resist. We are your friends.
It may be necessary for governments to take measures to protect the public from disorder.
Freedom and Liberty
Are not the same thing. Will continue on this part later on.
Love your brothers, and respect your neighbors, and you will be contributing to the existence of government. -Confucius
And that was part one. :E
