Did you also bought 5.1 speakers. Combine those with your specs and you're in gamingheaven for at least a year (maybe even two )

yeah you could save a few hundred dollars if you built it yourself (+ more fun) but ...

Of course you get a warranty, just seperately on each part. Building is much more fun, its not nearly as hard as you think. You dont have to know a lot, just the basics for getting it started up. Then learn to tweak it. Basically if you read a mobo manual once you would know everything.
