After thinking about a device like this in the distant future I came to the conclusion that something like that would change both society and the whole world as we know it.

Almost all industries that currently exist now are there to either produce or sell products that are impossible or far to difficult for the public to produce on their own. With a device like this what would be impossible? All I would need would be to go to the junkyard to get the raw materials for free and I could litterally produce my own super computer.

Thousands of businesses would collapse, new world dangers would arise, everyone would have access to whatever products they wanted despite cost. Heck you could probably produce all the food you wanted with it by simply recycling all organic matter. Terrorists would have an easy time producing whatever kinds of weapons they wanted.
