The production value looks rather poor for a 70 mil dollar movie.
It's not the content of the movie but rather the visual style or lack thereof that's disappointing to me. There's nothing "cinematic" about it. It looks more like a made for TV, Sunday Night action movie than a nostalgic action piece. Sad, i was really looking forward to this. Hopefully, all it needs is some finishing touches to spruce up the look of it.

As for the visual look, it looks fine to me, the movie Traitor had the same look, but was a fairly good movie

I have seen promo trailers before. Including Rambo 4, which did not disappoint.
The cinematography in this just looks bad imo. This looks more like an homage to the shitty action movies of the 80's and 90's instead of the classics.

The only reason the Rambo 4 promo trailer didn't disappoint is because halfway into it someones head explodes and rambo rips a throat out with his bare hands. Those two scenes alone would make ANYTHING awesome.

Really, I think you should wait before a real trailer comes out before you go ahead and decide that the movie is going to be shit.

I hope you realize that the trailer you linked was taped from a handy cam. That's why the picture and sound quality are so poor. The official trailer will probably be much more to your liking.

Stallone did a surprisingly good job directing his last two movies.
I can't say that i am impressed with what i have seen so far for this movie though.

You can find some behind the scenes clips on there. It appears that they will be releasing one of these every week or so until the movie comes out. Can't say that i am too optimistic about the movie but my respect for Sly has increased by quite a notch after seeing those making of videos.
