anyone here watch it? or used to watch it :p

my favourite sketches were 'this season, i will mostly be wearing.... (a thong for example or another equally disgusting piece of underwear) also i liked swiss toni, and 'och, suits you sir'. the best one though has to be 'ill get my coat'.

btw to all americans out there this is a british sketch comedy from last decade up to the beginning of this one ;)

edit: aah, shite now i see the 'film, tv and whatnot thread' sorry, can a mod move it?

I was taking to a guy at work about this a couple of weeks ago. He's 18 and had no recollection of it. That made me feel really old. But yeah, The Fast Show was sweet in it's time.

My favourite sketches were the farmer and manor lord who was so obviously gay.

I'm 17 and I remember it, great program, never really saw the funny side of the Spanish scenes though, or the Jazz ones.

Black! Black! Black! Black! My eyes! My eyes are pies! And yours are lies!

Great show.

I'm 22 and used to watch it a lot. It felt really funny and fresh early on, but it re-used sketches far too much and I got a bit sick of it in the end.

Big Train stole its place in my heart.

I liked the old guy that just talked nonsense.

For me it was one of those shows where only some parts were funny. A lot of it just wasn't funny at all (like the league of gentlemen...).

Absolutely, a pinnacle of British sketch humour. I always admired how they managed to create so many different personas and still make the majority of them really funny. My favourite sketch is probably the builders sitting on the girder, where Simon Day tells a completely random story and ends it with that cutoff "Could he fu-.."

Lines like "Someones sitting there mate"; "You ain't seen me - Roight!" and all of Monkfishes' lines (See - "WHAT DO YOU WANT?! A BISCUIT! PULL UP YOUR KNICKERS AND MAKE US A CUP OF TEA!"), make me guffaw like a fool. :D

Yes! I have them all on DVD!

Ooh! Suit you sir!

i loved the suave dude with the car business who compared everything to making love to a beautiful woman, the fishing comparison was teh roffle...

the fat cops were good too.....

Did anyone see the Fast Show Live? Cheesy Peas!
