I'm getting one of those! Oh wait, it costs nearly 1.5 million dollars :(

Those things are scary fast....makes me get goosebumps when I watch it.

Meh, you can get a bike with very similar performance for a few grand.

Did someone say Bristol Fighter T?

Or Caparo T1?

hmmm :D

What motorcycle do you have that does over 200mph for a "few grand"?

None, but that's due to the electronic limiters that kick in at 186mph due to a gentlemen's agreement between the major manufacturers.

The 0-60 times of any of the litre sportsbikes from the big four Japanese manufacturers are around the 2.5 seconds mark, even my 600cc sports-tourer which cost 1200 quid does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds.
Check out the Yamaha R1, Honda Fireblade, Suzuki GSXR1000 and Kawasaki ZX10R. There's a 2004 Fireblade on sale in my local dealer for 4000, obviously they can be bought much cheaper than that elsewhere.

Hasn't some bloke made some strange looking thing that goes (in theory) about 350mph, while doing 90mpg when at normal speeds? I saw it in the paper. Not entirely sure on the road legality of it though.

But yeah, I'd kill for a Veyron.

Bugatti Veyron isn't the fastest car in the world, it's the fastest PRODUCTION car in the world

But going full bore on a bike is like trying to run a marathon on a tightrope

Not at all...the faster you're going, the more stable a bike is.

At Thruxton they take some of the bends at over 200mph in the superbike races...

The fastest car in the world is going to crash in 56 seconds.
