The first Jak III and Ratchet & Clank 3 images!

Nope, those are from the third ones. (I've played through both).
Not much enthusiasm for Jak, but Ratchet and Clank is amazing. They made the last one in a year, so I guess they're doing the same thing this time. :D

I meant that I thought Pendragon was reffering to Jak II and Ratchet and Clank II when he said "Weren't they released only a month or two ago?".

Jak II's release date: 10/14/2003

R&C2's release date: 11/11/2003

Jak 2 was awesome. I always hated "kids games" but Jak 2 was cool. The weapons were sweet, the animation was some of the best I've seen, and the graphics were great. Not a single load time in the entire game. The action was actually really cool and there were some massive battles (especially the one at the docks). The platforming elements didn't annoy me nearly as much as most of those types of games (although this is the first one I've played since DK64) and the city and vehicles were really cool.

Despite the kiddy plot and cutscenes I was still able to enjoy it. It was pretty challenging too, but never that frustrating. Great game.

I did like most of Jak II, but towards the end I foung myself getting more and more pissed off by just trying to get around the city and still hitting stuff after having practiced driving for the entire game. It seemed like many of those segments depended more on chance than ability in the city.
I might be a little biased because immedietly after Jak I went to Ratchet and Clank 2, which now holds the top spot as my favorite platformer.
