btw the revolution's design is for real. And I think it's sexy.

The secret weapon: The console also will have downloadable access to 20 years of fan-favorite titles originally released for Nintendo 64, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and even the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).

Easy expansion: A bay for an SD memory card will let players expand the internal flash memory.

Two disc formats, one slot: Instead of a tray, a single, innovative, self-loading media bay will play both 12-centimeter optical discs used for the new system as well as Nintendo GameCube discs. Owners will have the option of equipping a small, self-contained attachment to play movies and other DVD content.

The specs: The system boasts 512 megabytes of internal flash memory, wireless controllers, two USB 2.0 ports and built-in Wi-Fi access. A worldwide network of Nintendo players can gather to compete in a comfortable, inviting environment. Revolution’s technological heart, a processing chip developed with IBM and code-named "Broadway," and a graphics chip set from ATI code-named "Hollywood," will deliver game experiences not previously possible.

Views on Zelda:
I honestly can't wait for this game. Two times the size of Ocarina? 70 hours! And that's without side-quests and having general fun and that's with knowing what to do for every puzzle. It will probably be the longest storyline driven game ever. And I will need to play it through atleast twice. I hope it's as good as the trailers, info and screenies make it look.... :p

Views on Revolution:
I have expressed most of my views in the other thread and everything is positive. The news of SD Card and USB makes me happy because it will just give the console some more credibility among the more casual gamers who just want the best looking console and not the most fun.

Views on other Nintendo products:
Super Mario 128: Remember that 100 Marios video demonstrating the power of the Gamecube? It was so popular that it turned into a fully fledged game. The engine used in the video was transferred over to Pikmin, so I imagine only the name was kept on. Will it be the Mario platformer we have all been waiting for?

Geist: To say I am excited about this would be an understatement. It is proof of Nintendo's continued focus on older gamers as well as the younger market (not that that is a view I hold. I will buy Mario over Mass-zombie-slaughterhouse 56 anyday) The premise for this game seems to be incredibly intuitive and looks to be one of the most thought-provoking shooters out there.

Whatever Retro games decide to show off: Whether it's Metroid Prime 3 or the "Halo-killer," I will be happy and anticipate heavily whatever they have on the horizon.

Looks amazing.

Who really expected anything else?? :)
