To all those Interested,
The Long Mile mod team needs your help! We are on the prowl for new staff, people who have
certain skills with computers and computer programs. We advertised our mod to several communities over a month
ago, and the response we had was fantastic. For those that dont know, let me tell you what our mod is all about. Set
during World War Two, accross the battlefields of Europe, The Long Mile will put its players into a hell, that hasnt
been experienced for nearly 60 years.

Sound a bit too Hollywood for you? Read on...

Even the small features we wish to impliment, windage, elevation, and correct ranges on weapons. The bigger features,
like no HUD, realtime weather, and authentic kit issues for soldiers will also make a lot of difference to how someone plays.
Armies including the British, Americans, Russians, Germans, and Italians all have their own regiments and correct kit.

Architecture of buildings, layouts of battlefields, even road names will all be authentically re-created, due to the faithful work
of our researchers.

I wont hand out all of the features we have planned, too many, too little time, too many other world war 2 mods out there.

However, if this is really going to work, we need people who are willing to help out and use their expertise. We know this sort of
mod wont be everyones "cup of tea" but we really want to complete it, and we hope many people will support us.

There are 9 people in our team so far, and weve known eachother for a very long time. So the team spirit is great, and we all
get along just fine.

We would like to talk to anyone interested in filling the following openings:

Mapping,
Coding,
Modelling,
and Skinning.

You can contact us in a number of ways,
http://www.thelongmile.com - it's still under construction but the forums work.
[email protected] - That's Xr's e-mail address, please feel free to mail him
#tlm-mod on Qnet - Our IRC channel

We dont just simply want to create another World War 2 mod, we just want to create one that's actually GOOD!
By good, I mean something that can be compared to reality very closely, but something thats fun aswell.

If you have constructive critisism to add, please do, but if you want to nag at us, dont! :)

Thanks for reading,

Kind Regards,
TLM Team
