I was wondering if anyone took the time to pick up this severly underpublisized game. If so, is it a Gem or a joke?

I dont think there are any as all the reviewers are busy playing World of Warcraft.

Good point, they worked so hard on this game and nobody really cares

I beta tested, and I can say the game isnt that fun imo wow is definately a staircase above MO

That is a shame. It is funny how no one in all these forums has bought this game; either that or they are so addicted to it that they can't pull themselves away to say how fricken sweet it is to the rest of us here.

I played in beta too... It was fun, but I think that MXO is more geared toward the City of Heroes group rather than the fantasy type mmorpg....

I Beta Tested it for a coupple months ago... and it's not that great at all.

Beta tested it,bought it.
It's too early to tell to be honest with ya.
The game does have potential.It's up to the devs to get it right though.
Yeah,it's too heavly focused on combat but it's not a mmorpg that requires you too grind the whole time.
It's very story driven and engaging though.
The community is great and so are the events.
The devs are very helpful and involved in the community.
You even get to meet the characters from the movies, which are controlled by a special team of devs.I say, if you are a true Matrix fan then give it a try.

Yeah am a matrix fan and followed the hype and stuff before it came out. Then i found out that you had to pay monthly for it so i guess many people didnt bother with it anymore once they found that out.

exactly, I was browsing thelastfreecity forums 3 months ago, they had this big red title TMO PAY TO PLAY, since then I lost all my hype for this game,

I like the idea of advertising in games. That would take care of the pay to play.
