The new AM2+ MB are showing off (Asus, DFI, Gigabyte)

Yeah they look sweet, glad to see that the manufacturers are finally paying attention to the heatsinks.

4 PCI-Express 16x slots. Now thats what I'm talking about.
Could put any PCI-Express card in those (1x-16x). But manufactures need to start cranking out PCI-Express expansion cards instead of only making their card available in PCI. hehe

I like that heatpipe setup. Hope it can work upside down (for reverse ATX cases). A lot of heatpipe coolers made for chipsets can't.

You know what I like to see? Since MBs are running out of space and, MB Vs Cases (The old IBM PC compatible rule) needs to be overhauled and, since MBs are getting more compacted and ever powerful; with now four PCIe slots; this IBM PC rule should be rewritten and cases redesigned.

The heat-pipes are really amazing, silent and very efficient on my MBs. I never trusted at first but, I sure was dumbfounded. lol.

Do you like how the heat-pipes even spread out on the memory slots? Damn that's so freaking cool. :rolling:

Wait you can put a normal pci card in a pci-express slot can't you?

Nope, no PCI 33mhz cards.

Just PCI-Express 1x, PCI-Express 2x, PCI-Express 4x, PCI-Express 8x, and PCI-Express 16x cards.
