They hold up a Quizno's and a subway sandwich and walk about how little meat the subway sandwich has. However they use the Quizno's steak & onion sandwich...which consists of only meat and onions, and they compare it against a subway sandwich with turkey, no bacon/cheese/vegetables/sauce/spice.

I don't know why but this commercial really bothers me. The Quizno's steak sandwich is supposed to have a lot of meat, because that's all it comes with. Compared to a subway sandwich which is supposed to have a lot of things piled on. It just upsets me they didn't use like an Italian BLT with everything on it, because then they couldn't have even closed the bread.

That said, I love Quizno's and Subway. I just disagree with this marketing campaign.

I despise companies that insult the other company to promote their own. If you have drop to petty insults to get people to buy your product, maybe your product really ISN'T better than the competitors. Unfortunately it's a new trend in TV advertisement.

I prefer Subway, but that's because there are very few Quizno's where I live compared to Subway, plus I have friends who work at Subway.

And yes, a sandwich now would kick ass.

Remember the old ones with the singing hamsters? Creeped me right the **** out.

I remember 99 cent deli cheese sandwiches at Subway about 6 years ago. I could eat three and then get an RC cola for another 50 cents.

Meh, I don't let a TV commercial tell me who is better than who. I decide for myself. No point in getting bent out of shape over the companies opinions..

I too hate it when companies rag on another.

Like the whole Campbells vs PRogresso thing. That pissed me off so much, I'm universally biased in favor or campbells.

Quizno's is disgusting, and I second the D'Angelos statement.

It's racist.

I've actually never had quizno's, subway's, or dangly-o's.

I just had pizza.

It was quite delicious.

I prefer making my own* soup.

*usually with Campbell's mushroom as a base

Edit: And I prefer Subway's. Quizno's is on the other side of town anyway--Subway is just a few blocks down the street.

I hate subway. I get subs at quiznos/publix. Seriously, publix boars head ultimate sub is the GREATEST THING MY HUMBLE TONGUE HAS EVER TASTED! And the Quiznos steak dip is pretty good.
