Personally, I actually enjoyed the added challenge of killing 225 hp pyros since pre-update pyros with their measly 175hp and average speed where just way to easy to send flying into the air with one well aimed rocket then follow up for an easy 2 shot kill. Yes, I doesn't take alot of skill to charge down an opponent, but when I wasn't ambushed by a pyro I still got the better of them almost all of the time except now they actually cause some damage to me instead of simply feeding my kpd ratio.

The Back Burner is also now going to be obsolete, without the hp boost those rare occasions where the back-crit function actually did some good will never make up for losing the compression blast. And I dont care what anyone says, if you disagree you must be an idiot :)

Oh well, whats done is done. I will miss the 225 pyro, perhaps the back-burner will be pimped in a later update, probably not, until then I am going to lament the smell of barbequed heavies and singed medics.

I wouldn't have minded the removal of the HP buff if it was compensated for in some other way.

As it is, BB is just a broken gun.

Doesn't matter to me, I don't use it. And I don't care how much health it has.

I never used it, so it doesn't really affect me either way, lol.

I still wonder how the hell the idea of a weapon that crits when hitting someone from behind ever became a reality. It was the perfect meeting of nub class and lame - and now just it's less lame (but still a class for nubs :p)

Backburner is the best for ambushes. Air Blast is the best for humilations...

1) Walk up to enemy.
2) Use Air Blast.
3) Run underneath enemy.
4) Use Air Blast to push them in the air.
5) Set them on fire.
6) Push them up into the air again.
7) As they are about to fall down, pull out the Axtinguisher.
8) WHACK! CRITICAL HIT! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

I hadn't been getting Backburner crits for about a week now, and in the match I played last night - after the update - I got them all the time, more or less exactly when I was behind people. Dominated pretty heavily, even without the extra health. Fine by me.

Backburner always felt too cheap to me, even when I unlocked it. Might start using it now that straight-line charges from across the map aren't that simple anymore.

BB is mostly balanced now, despite being a bit weaker than the leafblower now. I already sed it, and was already good as Pyro, so I will continue using it for crits. I am a very ninja-like Pyro on Badlands, I love to jump using shortcuts and whatnot, and leaping upon the unsuspecting.

I'm actually inbetween points two and three, but I just said yes, because I don't really mind. It's extra points for demomen and soldiers.

There are still hordes of pyros out there who still don't seem to realise you can't rush us anymore. It's kinda funny. I got about 10 kills in a row earlier as demoman from pyros rushing me on hydro. Was awesome.

I feel sad when I see nub pyro's rush someone. Youtube + how to play pyro = profit! But then I laugh as I flank, get behind and grill the recently fail rushed enemy into ash's.

Yes its a good patch, but I wont be using the back burner/I wasn't anyway

If I wanted to play a class where I needed to be sneaky and ambush people I'd play spy.
The extra HP was much needed, the pyro is suposed to be a melee fighter.

I don't agree it because I was always using my Pyro as a close-combat fighter, never as a surrogate spy, but eh whatever.
