The *real* Aperture?

I noticed this in a thread on GameFaqs, but searched the forum and found nothing here. There is a site http://www.aperture.com/ that has a similar logo to that found in the game. Look at some of their clients. Either coincidental, or fairly creepy considering it looks to be a real business.

Interesting nonetheless.

You sure it was for this site? I feel like that was for www.ApertureScience.com which has be posted numerous times, with the cjohnson/tier3 login information.

Aperture means to ‘open’ which makes since when you think about how they used to have the shower curtains as a.. ‘portal’ to your shower. To ‘Portal’ is to open a bridge to another spot. So, it's just the word they chose.

Well, the logo can somewhat be explained by what an aperture really is. An aperture is a hole or opening which light is emitted, and the logo kind of portrays that.
