Right, I don't know why this has been reported as "new" news. I mean, I liked a band in 1999 that kept on making references to 616. Their old website used to be squid616.co.uk.

So basically, that article is talking crap. There's probably some new evidence that it's really 616, but it's not a new revelation (pardon the pun).

Basically they just started finding new things guys...so there's probally more to it then just 616.They have yet to decipher the whole thing...

He said: "This is an example of gematria, where numbers are based on the numerical values of letters in people's names. I dunno but i remember a film called caligula that was basically loads of men and women having random greek or roman orgies or something.
loads of random stuff, i found it funny at the time but can't remember much.

Yeah, but the news article is focusing on the 616 thing, which has been well known for some time. The Band website I mentioned even had a very similar explanation. Everything in the article is something I've read before.

Which is why I'm pissed off that they are making out that this is really shocking, new news.
