Who has seen it? what did you think?

I would say a great portrayal of the series onto the big screen. Well worth the watch. So very high expectations from me and did not disappoint.

Just saw it on opening night here (here ironically being Aus, lols *waves @ teh burnz man*). Was awesome and way exceeded my expectations. Infact I think I would've enjoyed it a hell of alot more if I didn't come in "knowing" it would be a total flop. Above all the jokes were surprisingly consistent (not to mention funny), and I actually walked out happy in the knowledge that I paid to see it - more than I can say for any other movie recently :)

Also, lol, Bart's doodle.

*walks out of thread humming to spiderpig*

lol yeah i was like what the Christ did i just see that?

*waves*

But yes consistently funny and a well rounded story.

Ps. i cheared when spider pig came on god damn that was funny.

Haha yeah, I was pretty surprised by the doodle bit, good show :)

Also, I was in a packed cinema watching it, and seriously like half the people in there started singing along to the spider pig bit as soon as it came on xD

Not bad although a bit lacking in parts... Good funny bits though.

Just got back from it, I thought it was pretty so-so.

I am so ****ing sick of The Simpsons.

*puts on flame-suit*

Nice to see some positive reviews. I wasn't expecting much from the film TBH.

My friend's (ex?)girlfriend said it completely sucked. But everywhere on the internets ive seen people say it was great. Internets > friends girlfriend. Ill go see it.

Its basically one long episode but its way better than i expected, considering how much the simpsons have sucked in the past 6-7 years. It was good, i laughed throughout it.

It's really short, though, isn't it?

I don't wanna pay $15 for a ticket if hardly have sat down before it's over.

It's an hour and a half. I don't consider that short for a movie.

And $15 for a ticket, wtf? All of the theaters around here (within an hour radius) aren't more than $7 a ticket.

I'll probably see it at some point given the general "above expectations" attitude towards it.

And $15 for a ticket, wtf? All of the theaters around here (within an hour radius) aren't more than $7 a ticket.
I'll take a guess and say that this has something to do with it:
15 Swedish Krona = 2.22255 US Dollar

A ticket cost 100 SEK, which is roughly 15 USD.

The price is too high, which is probably why illegal file-sharing is so common.

The best parts are in the trailers.

It's a good film, if you goto watch it expect a well written and animated version of an ordinary episode.

I don't know what most of you people are smoking.

It had its moments but overall I was disappointed, it sucked.

I thought the funniest bit was right at the beginning.

Why pay for something that you get on TV for free?

I was disappointed. It was too rushed and the humor was so-so in my opinion.

I just saw it and loved it.

I liked the part where Greenday's Barge (if that's how you spell it) was melted from th lake.

Thought it was really good, perhaps not as good as I was expecting but, I think that's due to the amount of advertising it's received.
Spider Pig...Just awesome :D
and I thought the cinema bit at the beginning was really clever, good way of interacting with the audience!

As a fan of the series (I'm a collector of anything Simpson's related.) it was fantastic to watch.

Too bad its fate came down to you eating it.

whoever has been following the simpsons episodes all their life will greatly enjoy this. for someone, who has not, then it would suck

There wasn't enough Flanders bashing, imo.

But it was nice and enjoyable.

i enjoyed the Simpson's movie and i would watch it over and very again its very entertaining id give it a thumbs up

9/10, while it felt rushed in places, did not dissapiont and took the piss out of anything and everything. Barts doodle lol.

One thing, what happened to the pig?

I loved it! But it just wasn't long enough damnit! I wanted more. As many people said before, it just felt like a longer episode. Definitely worth watching if you like the simpsons.

I don't understand why people are saying it was just felt like a longer episode. I don't know what you expected. All cartoon movies seem like an extended version.
