Just finished one of the best games I've ever played :D.

Me, [PEDO]ray_MAN, RipperRoo, SkinnyMagig, Jimmy, Timmy.

Fantastically funny stuff, including stunting, races and Black Hawk Down posing ;).

I'll post the screenies tomorrow, but I know they have ones to post too :D.

I was the one who moved the chopper the first time you landed it, I thought you already took a screenshot. I couldnt control the chopper so I crashed against a house, laughed my ass of though.

It is technically still a "Cobra" since it's a family of designations. They're all technically "AH-1 Cobras"

That's why when people argue about Seahawk/Blackhawk (Ingame it should be a Seahawk if it were real life, but the model/designation is a Black Hawk) they should just call it an H-60 or a Hawk, because either way it is. All H-60's are XHawk, just like AH-1 are XCobra ;p
 
Or how about we call them chopper and hawk. Really, I don't care wether what I'm shooting is an M16 or an MP2007. As long as it kills people online.

Killing people offline = teh sux.
 
i was there for a few minutes with shakermaker too before we went off, the black hawk on the train was good.

How in the hell do you think it's a Seahawk? It's clearly a Blackhawk, the only place it mentions a Seahawk is on a SWEDISH developing website, a flash one at that, thus obviously less updatable, and prone to typos. If the model/designation is a blackhawk, then wouldn't it technically be a blackhawk? That's like trying to say an english report about the Civil War that is actually for US History is still indeed an english report.

Can we stop turning every single BF2 thread into arguments about what stuff is called? Cheers.
 
There are more reasons, one of them beeing that the seahawk is the helicopter that is most used from mission from a carrier. And it's from the offical EA bf2 site.

I know, the ingame model and the ingame designation are blackhawk. I'm just saying in real life it would be a seahawk. The way they have it is akin to having an F-16 take off from a carrier, not right, but in a game it doesn't really matter ;p.

Anyway, to not be totally off topic.
Needs moar screenshots of people doing incredible chopper landings. I was impressed with those. I've gotten really good at the planes and now I've tried training with the choppers on 0 person or offline servers. Still tricky to make exact landings like the train or pool ones
 
That was an awesome game. I remember me and ray_man flew the chopper to the crane and one of us would jump out onto the crane, and then the chopper fly really close again and that person would jump back on. That was good fun.
 
Lol, I remember the crane. Some good laughs from there, especially when ray_MAN jumped from his chopper, hit the blades of Ripper's and went limp and splatted to the ground :D.

This is the first BHD recreation we tried ;), but does anyone know a way to get rid of the HUD and weapon?:

Oh, now this is funny :D (just like the whole game was really). Ripper was flying successfully under the bridge at quite some speed:

But on one run, took the Hawk a little too nose-up. First comes the slightly slanted Hawk, and at some pretty high speed:

Then the tail got caught on the bridge and flipped the Hawk over itself, with Ripper inside:

And then the inevitable happened. Ripper jumped out but just a little too late :(:

We also managed to scare ourselves. If you go to the warehouse and stand near it, there are some damn creepy sounds coming out.

The same bridge, after I blew a hole in it, with some more helicopter-in-tight-spaces positioning, from both of the best heli pilots I've ever seen ;):
