The Sopranos

So after weeks of walking through the living room to see my dad sitting at the laptop, headphones on, watching some series about the Mafia I finally decided to borrow some of the DVD's and watch it for myself. I'm on Series 1 Volume 6 tonight, which to my understanding is the end of Series 1. I should have it finished by tonight and then I'll go and hunt out the Series 2 boxset.

Anyway, I think its brilliant. Humourous, gritty, dark - I love it. I think the characters are excellent, and I like how, like Lost, each episode sort of focuses on each of them. Mafia stuff never really caught my attention, but I'm really enjoying this. I may order Series 3 as my dad doesn't have it. Can be part of a B'day present for him, too, I guess.

I know it use to be on TV, as that was what got my dad into it. Did anyone else watch it or watch the DVD's?

I have it followed up till the latest season (5). Season 6 should be starting in March 2006 I believe.
