The sound of the explosion ringing in my ears twice.

When a hegrenade explodes near you you are for a moment stunned by the explosion, the sound is "ringing in your ears" and you can't hear well. That's how it is supposed to be and that's how it was for me. However about 4 days ago the hegrenade started to stun me twice. After I am deaf for a moment and there is this high sound, when it ends I get another "deafness sound". Anyone has a similar problem and/or knows how to fix this. I have no idea what's the cause since it was OK before.

In a recent update they delayed the deafening sound as to not muffle the explosion of the grenade itself. I think it was in the same update that had de_prodigy but you get check at steampowered.com if you want.
 
I got it as well after the Prodigy update, doesn't sound right at all, nothing to worry about though as its not that annoying. It will be fixed in due time.
 
I also get that same problem, and it started because of the Prodigy update. I'd just randomly get deaf a few seconds after being naded instead of getting deaf right after the explosion.
 
When you throw a grenade, it explodes and you get the ringing sound (like flashbangs) and then if you wait for about 3 seconds, you hear another one just the same, it kind of plays the deafness sound file twice or somthing :?
 
Its since they did the update with the HE grenade deafness delay thing
 
the sound of clubbing has been ringing in my ears for 2 DAYSSSSSSS

Yes, that's it, and it's not because two nades are thrown. Well, I guess it will be fixed if it's not just my problem.
 
seems u guys are getting the ringing sound like 5 seconds or so after ur sposed to get it

it should go like this

BOOOOOOM MOTHER ****ER as the grenade goes off

then u are temp deaf u can hear nothing

then the ringing is as ur hearing is comming back

Problem is its way to much delayed... Just seems ****ed up. And its unrealistic too, cause if you get hit that close by a nade, you never hear the explotion anyways. maby just the start of it.

The way it is now the ringing comes a good 3-4 seconds later, often when you think you have cleared the effects from the nade.

Its quite frustrating to consider yourself out of a situation and then suddenly loose sound.
 
Well for me what happens is the nad explodes, but I dont hear the full explosion, I hear the start of it then I get the ringing and muffled sounds. Then I walk away thinking thats it but then 5-10 seconds later I get the exact same ringing again! No other nads have exploded near me since the first nad, it just does a loop.

Maybe thats what happens in real life, I wouldnt know, never had the experience.
 
I think either way, every one thats experiencing this problem should submit a bug report in the game, so they atleast might look into it.
