how many people are going to see spider-man 2?

i personally enjoyed the 1st one immensely (sp?) and am going to see this ASAP

I didnt like the first one.Sorry to all the spidy fans out there but I didnt enjoy it and I wont be going to see the new one.
(Now before you flame, not saying you will but, remember it isnt because I have a closed mind.Im and avid ST,SW and SG fan and I enjoyed reading some of the comics.BUT I didnt like the film.)

I thought the first one sucked. I have it on DVD (didn't buy it, got it free) and I am unable to watch it all the way through. It starts to suck something horrid around the mid-point.

No, I'm not one for comic-book flicks, though I've heard (and the trailer), that the second one was better: more fleshed out and complex with plenty of action (including a "shattering" ;) ending that leads us right to the 3rd).
I hope so, the other comic-book movies this year were deplorable to say the least.

I hated the first film. I was an avid collector of Spider-Man comics when I was younger, and the film did them such a disservice with it's cheesy plot and really poor acting. It all felt so fake to me, and very boring. The second looks to be no better.

I liked the first one. Didn't love it, but I liked it.

I've always been a huge spidey fan. Got a huge stack of comics at home.

I'll be watching this one at the cinemas, simply because a lot of the action sequences will look great on the big screen. And I'll probably get the DVD from somewhere. Usually presents, and people know how much of a spidey fan I am.

On my 21st birthday, I got TWO copies of the special edition Spider-man DVD!

I liked the first one, but I did not think that it was superb. It had many faults and despite me enjoying it, I never had a desire to see it again. Its just not a rewatchable movie. It was just not that kinda good.

But my brother and I are going to see it today at the matinee, there is no way I would pay for a night time showing of this film, but I am anticipating seeing it.

I will see the second one, even though the first one was lacking. The first movie had the characters right but did not have enough of Spider-man in action. The second one looks to have more of this, plus Doctor Octopus is one of my favorite characters.

Here's a review of the movie for those who are interested:

This review was originally televised for those who are curious.

I'm goin' to go see it Friday. This one looks like it could be better than the first.
