i can't believe there isn't already a thread on this topic yet :p
anyway, New England Patriots vs Philadelphia Eagles.

i am picking the Pats to win.. they simply seem unbeatable right now and always come up with timely plays.
it didn't help that the Eagles' players were talking trash through the week.. bulletin board material never helps.

its just tough picking against any of the top 3 AFC teams to lose against the NFC but thats just my opinion.

post ur winner and why :p

Eagles, I flipped a coin. All I care about is American Dad, which they're showing afterwards.

Eagles, because I said so.

Patriots win statistically though.

who cares?

okay, seriously, why are u posting in here if u don't care?
i know sports threads aren't too popular around here but damn, im sure some pple do care and have a rooting interest.. please, if u don't care, don't bother entering the thread.

thanks.

poor me... i'm in oz. i don't get to watch baseball (i thinks thats it) games. all i get is the bloody cricket... sooo... boring :(

The Pats will win, but that doesnt mean I want them to do so. Its a shame that TO wont be 100%, he could have made the game more interesting. Belichick is just too much of a genius for the Eagles (or anybody) to overcome. He has the NFL under his thumb.

The Patriots of course, as they are from new ENGLAND, so they must be good. That is, if New England is anything like Olde England.

I have watched American football once and I must say it is more boring than watching golf. There is an ad (comercial) break every 2 minutes. Give me Irish or Australian football (and compromise rules of course), they are much better.

you know, my school's team is the Pinellas Park Patriots. We lose EVERY GAME that we play.

Let's go Eagles! New England won last year, and the Boston Red Sox won the World Series. It's time Philly got some glory. :)

patriots.

oh and i live in jacksonville, this years host city so much going on downtown that is

Patriots...never doubt the Patriots, ever.

I voted for eagles, b/c their name sounds better.

well smartass, I was telling Ranga that it was not baseball. f*** off.
Come on guys, what's the point...

It's just the internets

lighten up or you're gonna get warned

And on topic, i dont really care for american football but i guess i agree with razor... go englands! :p

Although I really don't care much for the NFL (I'm a college-sports person) I have to say that the patriots will probably win.

But, the main reason I watch the Superbowl is for the commercials. I just hope that they don't keep them clean after last year's Janet Jackson incident.
If it weren't for the good commercials, I wouldn't watch the Superbowl.

who cares, i just want to see paul perform at halftime.

If Oprah had a wardrobe malfunction, fans in the front rows could be hurt! Oh the humanity!!

Geaux Tigers!

...ugh...I despise pro football. Well, I'm off to a superbowl party!

I warned him because he deserved it :/

It's odd that they have decided to put the super bowl on English tv this year, I mean no one in England watches a sport for Americans :s, oh well it beats the normal crap you get on tv :(

the only american sport i watch is the superbowl.
ive always watched it, its only been on skysports for the last couple of years, but this year, its on sky sports and itv terrestrial. :D

PS im thinking of buying sky plus, anyone got it? if so, is it ne good? :D

If you watch a lot of television, it is worth it, yes.

I think I'm gonna root for the Eagles now 'cuz they seem like the underdog.
