I need your help:
im new in hl2,i have a 256mg x800xt all in wonder ati card (they say prefered video card for hl2) with
win xp sp2, 1 gb ram, omega drivers (latest),p4 3.2ghz.
In the options menu ,video settings i select the recommended * options but the sistem reboot my configuration ( the water reflections and shadows) and in every light source theres a white square with a x inside.
anybody can tell me whats going on?
some advice?

i fix the problem, just making a cfg archieve and changes some settings.
now run smooth and high settings on.
its a bootleg.jeje.

The link doesn't work because you need steam to run HL2 to fix it.
