This vid freaked my friend out a lot, seems to just be a bunch of cryptic crap that deals with either The Ring 2, or just a dumb experiment, watch it if you DARE!!! SPOOOOKY!

Link would help dude :p

Edit/ Oh! i think i get it now. Is the film/whatever called The Tape?

*sulks* This one suffers the same as the first US tape did. It's too creative and too much work and hidden meaning put into it. I'm not saying its bad, its just _too_ well done, so comes across as forced. If you've seen the first US Ring film you know the links between its tape and that film, so you could probably work out what this sequel has in it from this tape.

The original ORIGINAL tape pwns them all, its the kind of creepyness that some girl stuck in a well for 30 years would have created, it doesn't have that forced look, its more accidental and just outright spooky. The US ones are cool n all, but the originals are just far far better :)

The US tape was lame. OMG that ladder fell over, that happened in the tape too :O :O :O Big woop.

Yeah, this one was a bit drawn out.

o well i never saw the ring but this vid is very well done, not so much spooky, but very artisticlly good. the talent is jumping out of the screen and stabbing me in the heart. So it works i guess. :D

artistically yeah its well done, and a lot of thought went into this and the first US one. And thats the problem with it :(

The tape is supposed to be something created from the mind of a child (in the US version) who spent 7 days down a well before dying, using memories, pain, feelings imprinted on the tape. It's like that US preschooler claiming to have painted all those paintings through the word of God.

So as a thing on its own, its great, but very studentlike. For its intended purpose it simply doesn't work very well.

I guess, I still like it though. But I see what you mean, it really does not feel like child would think of these things, more like a parent who lost a child and that ruined his life to commit suicide. Is this the actual tape from the ring cause if not then it might be that this one is made by another dead person, ya i know the well is the same at the end, but its still possible it is seperate.

I think this sequel is a different storyline to the originals, so its possibly been created by another child, maybe someone who was in the same institute as Samara and was effected by her, there's still the water and well elements, so there is still a connection, and it looks like there were some experiments going on, and a straight jacket, so Samara is involved somewhere along the lines.

I "think" I heard it was the dark haired girl from the first that was part of the story this time around, she survived and had been effected briefly, so it could have been her tape. And in the originals, the second Ring movie it shows an imprint can be made on a new tape by someone who was cursed before the tape was recorded, though that kinda goes against the twisted faces caused on video/photograph once the person has seen the tape, since the girl in that was recorded fine with no distortion and only attacked the reporter _after_ her seven days was up and he watched the video of her that had been made after she'd seen the tape.

Atleast I think she'd seen the tape before being interviewed, haven't seen it in a few months so can't be entirely sure.
