Simple thread, what trilogy do you like the most? I have to say Star Wars... Am Im a star wars nerd, but close, close 2nd is Lord of the Rings. (Wait for poll! Well you can post still.. but you know..er.shut up :/)

I like the Jones films as well.. (Ford for an older guy still has...it ). and I loved the films, temple of doom's female actor and the kid annoyed the crap out of me, so I didnt overly love that one. Needed more Indi and less bitchy (The girl..)

I'm a bit torn between all these trilogies. I mean when I watch the original Star Wars trilogy today as a 24 year old man it's not the same three movies I watched when I was a kid. If you asked me at six years old then yeah, I'd have definitely gone with Star Wars, but as it stands I'm gonna have to say Lord of the Rings.

For anyone with half a brain, the fourth wasn't an Aliens movie at all. It was more like one of those really horrible shits that some people make, one that slides out the anus like slush and you can't really tell if it's a shit or last nights icecream.

And on the note of the Alien Trilogy argument, most Alien efficionados state there are only 3 films because the 4th one sucked balls. Just like the 2nd Predator... speaking of which, they should make a third one. Preferably not in the city.... the desert would be good.

The third certainly isn't my favorite, but it's a hell of a lot better than the 4th.

The second is my all time favorite action / sci-fi movie.
