most of you are probably familiar with this document. over time, many theories or historical philosophies (usually depending upon the time period) have been made about this document but usually they boil down to these 2:
socialist: this is a document written by rich white men, used to heighten their own power, while keeping the middle class middle and minorities down. (historians such a zinn believe this, i guess it would be the most "liberal" way of looking at it)
idealistic: the final evolution of democracy, the perfect government.
im interested in less conservative folks out there, preferably american (only because i would assume they know more about the document itself)
if you dont know shit about the constitution or the time it was made please stay away from this thread.
