The very last part of the game...

Yeah I have climbed to the top of the Citadel with Breen making his getaway. The portal opens and 2 gunships come out as soon as I start attacking them I get a message saying "Mission failure : failure to protect time critical sequence" and I have to reload my game.

What does this mean and why does it keep coming up? Am I not fast enough getting up there or something?

Ok, this is a spoiler, but heres how to do it:

You need to destroy the top of the tower breen is floating up through. Do this by shooting the balls on the edge of the platform at the very top. After a while some rings will spin around the top. Shoot them to.

Should get you sorted.

I just think of it as shooting the white ball above Breen's capsule. I think you have to shoot in between the metal plates, since I think they are intended to "protect" the white ball, which is some sort of energy.
