The VIVO in ATI and Nvidia

ive seen cards with vivo on their names at newegg.com

i dont knwo what vivo is but cards without it cost about 50 dollars cheaper.

can someone tell me what vivo is. and will it help with games like hl2, bf42, hl3, cscz,

manufacturer dont matter, ive seen same manufac with the same card, one with vivo and one without vivo,

im thinking its like a video capture, remote control thingy going on for tv recording and what not, but im not shure, i just need professional input on this.

VIVO = Video In, Video Out

Yeah, VIVO means Video In, Video Out.
The video in allows you to connect your VCR or whatnot to your video card and watch tv (and record it) through your computer. As well as things like tansfer VCR to digital data.
