The VSS Enterprise test run today!

Oh, so the main body was just a transport to carry it up to higher altitudes? I was thinking... okay, that doesn't look like it'd survive atmospheric reentry.
 
Actually the re-entry method is they strap Richard Branson to the front and his shit-eating grin deflects most of the heat and redirects the remainder into his mangy little goat beard.
 
I got goose bumps until they didn't launch into space.
 
They really expect people to pay money to travel on that piece of shit?

That was SpaceshipOne. It won the X-prize in 2004. It can't be used for space tourism because it only has place for one pilot. The Enterprise that was tested yesterday is built for two crew members and six passengers.
