the wii gives you the diseases

yep, I was sore after the first day, but it was really very minor.

Now I'm kind of ashamed...

lol my left wrist is permanently sore from playing Guitar Hero all the time

Ooo a disease?

I got a disease
Deep inside me
Makes me feel uneasy baby
I can't live without you
Tell me what I am supposed to do about it
Keep your distance from it
Don't pay no attention to me
I got a disease

I want a Wii Disease!!

If that happened to me, I wouldn't complain about it. I would just feel like a total wuss.

"Nintendo urges exercise to counteract."

A-HA! So their sinister plot finally comes to light :hmph:

All that means is that Wii players are out of shape lamers that couch all day.

Yeah those loosers. Another reason why PC gamers are greater! We are out of shape lamers that chair all day. HAH!

I've never understood the appeal of games like dance dance revolution and guitar hero. Why not just go out and dance, or buy/learn to play a guitar?

eheheehe... hahaha... oh :sadface

I have never had any injuries due to playing games. Once I got a sore wrist because of playing guitar too long and with the wrong technique.

Well maybe the original plan of Nintendo was to make gamers less fat or something :p

Yeah I never understood platformers either, why not just go collect random objects and jump over chasms yourself?

You just gave me an idea!

Yeah I never understood FPS's either. Why not just go out and kill magical demons and people in real life?
I will never understand the appeal of GTA. Why not just go and kill random people, steal cars, run from the police, and blow shit up in real life?

Yeah! Personally, I've never understood the appeal of the Sims. Why not just... wait.....

OH SHI--- IT'S REAL LIFE! ENSUE PANDEMONIUM!

I love how people are complaining that they're getting sore from waving a little controller around that can't weigh more than a few ounces.

Well... dancing and playing guitar are very mundane things WELL within the reality of your average person to accomplish.

But, I see your point.

Exercise ftw.

Well it's just common sense, if something involves physical motion like that, you are GOING to get tired, or perhaps a sore arm if you don't do that stuff enough. I mean not only is it like a "what did you expect" thing but I'm getting the vibe that people are actually complaining... It's a system made for physical movement and it's not like someone is FORCING you to play.

Because I can't dance and I want my guitar to have 5 frets and one string :P

wow, this is really weird. I played my friends Wii for a little over an hour, and the next day at work my entire arm was KILLING me...and im not skinny and frail by any means.....but I couldnt figure out what it would be until I read this.....my only other thought was how I was holding my 360 controller that night....laying down in a chair with my elbow against the arm rest.......

hmmmm, what could it be....

I played Wii Sports(Mostly Boxing) and Zelda for well over 4/5 hours at my friends house.
My arm had a slight pain in the muscle the next day... but killing you? Damn!
