How many of you have heard this scream? I'm sure every last one of you have. Question is, do you recognize it when you hear it? Everytime I hear it, I roll my eyes at its overuse <chuckles>

So... for those of you who have heard it, lets name all the movies that its in!

For starters... Broken Arrow has it, when Christian Slater's character kicks the badguy out of the train off the bridge.

EDIT: Wait a damn second... the sound file found on wikipedia and other websites of the Wilhelm scream, is different than the overused one I am thinking of! Hmmmmmmm. Whats the one in Broken Arrow called?

I don't know what that ones called, but I love spotting the Willhelm. I don't think its bad at all, rather its become this sort of traditional in-joke among movie designers. Its a classic. :D

HAHAHA wow. This is funny, because I had no idea anyone else noticed. Ever since I was like six I've been noticing it in tons of movies.

Star Wars was the first, so I've always thought of it as the "guy falling in sarlaac pit" scream. But it's in a hell of a lot of movies.

I really can't express how amused I am that other people have noticed it. I figured it was just an overused stock sound.

Heh... no, lots of people know about it. :)

I know which overused scream you're talking about, Raziaar. I always think of it as the "Ahh! Real Monsters" scream, from Nickelodeon. I don't know what it's called but I've heard it countless more times than the Wilhelm. It seems like everytime someone takes a long fall in a movie, that's the sound they use. "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

lol, speaking about stock sounds the game Goldeneye 64 had a lot of different but well known stock sounds when you killed an enemy.
